The average net wage in May amounted to EUR 822.34
The average gross wage in Slovenia was up 2.1% in May over April and 5.8% year-on-year, reaching EUR 1,263.57, the Statistics Office said on Monday, 16 July.
May had two working days more than April resulting in more overtime work and arrears, according to the Statistics Office. The actual increase of the average gross wage over April was 0.9% and 2.8% year-on-year.
The average net wage in May amounted to EUR 822.34, 1.8% more on monthly level and up 7.9% year-on-year.
The average net wage in Slovenia in the first five months of 2007 reached EUR 810.88, which was 7.8% more than in the same period last year, while the average gross wage grew by 5.6%, reaching EUR 1,243.32.
